OWS Observations

As a follow up to the last post (so this makes, what...two this year so far?), I had the opportunity to witness yet another OWS event today. Well, technically it wasn't Occupy Wall Street, since we were not on Wall Street. But that really doesn't matter, since "Occupy" is the important part of the equation. The whole Occupy "movement" has expanded well beyond Wall Street. Now it's Occupy <insert geographical location>. But here's basically how the whole thing shook out...

The Occupiers did thier little march down the streets, and eventually ended up at the Legislature building. True to form, they were representing the 99%...all thirty of them. It was the usual mish-mash of liberal parasites and juvenile miscreants. Some prefered to express themselves as fashionable radicals...anarchy signs, V for Vendetta masks, mohawks...the sort of stuff that respectable protesters wear these days.

The universally chanted theme of solidarity seemed to once again be lost in any effort to cobble together a coherent message or theme. It was a litany of groaning and whining about various bad guys who are the cause of all woes for us ninety-nine percenters...big oil, corporate fat-cats, conservative politicians...you know, the usual whipping boys for these sort of folks.

One guy went on and on about how we are all connected, that everything was energy at its base, and that we had the power to change the focus of our own energy. From a neo-Wiccan point of view, I was surprised to hear quite a bit that I agreed with. But the conclusion was a spectacular fail. While tooling around the fringes of saying that we each individually have the power to change our own lot in life, instead we arrive at the not-so-surprising and anti-climatic conclusion that we should be using this personal energy in solidarity with the purpose of taking other peoples stuff. And this is the true base message, where there is any, of the whole Occupy thing...greed and envy. Somebody else has, therefore I am entitled.

Here's a real neat angle, offered up by one of the speakers: allegedly in unison with other women, and by extension representing all women (natch), there is apparently now a "right" to supply a wage for stay-at-home mothers. That's right...spread your legs, and Pow!...you are now entitled to a paycheck for the next 18 years. Never mind that somebody else has to take responsibility for providing that lifestyle for you.

This, folks, is exactly how a pro-life guy like me becomes an advocate for retroactive abortion. Listening to all of the hippies, neo-hippies, college "educated" morons, and various riff-raff drone on and on about how somebody else owes them something, and how it somehow at some point magically morphs into a "right"...well, it is sometimes about all a fella can do to keep from going postal (not literally...the last thing I need is some liberal retard calling the cops becuase he/she feels threatened with a blog post). But back to the point...yeah, I say that if after a couple decades a person still thinks like this...abort 'em. They are not viable. They are a parasite. Fancy that...we slaughter...er, I mean terminate the innocent ones, and the rotten ones we give rights to. Wow...

Well, there you have it...my venting is now complete. Once again the forces of self-righteous greed have shown themselves as the pathetic would-be mob in search of a socialist utopia that they are. Here's a novel idea...how about you losers try occupying a job? And if things are tight, occupy two. Thats what the grown ups do...and usually it leaves them little time for nonsense, or greed.

OWS vs Tea Party

It's been a while since I have posted, and hell...it may be while longer until my next rant. Real life and a variety of interests, not to mention a recurring bad case of the lazies, can be a real stumbling block. But here's an issue that I felt compelled to get indignant about.

I remember when the Tea Party first came about, and feeling somewhat indifferent and even cautious. I wanted to wait for a little bit and see what was going to shake out of the whole thing. To my pleasant surprise I was amazed that these folks seemed to have hit it just right in terms of the principles upon which they stood: A return to limited (Constitutional) government, less taxes (Federally madated slavery), and getting the power-hungry bureaucracy out of the way of a free (and healthy) economy..just to name a few.

I knew that we were striking gold with this movement when the liberal distortion-machine kicked into gear and the corrupt mainstream media started parroting thier propoganda. What any reasonably honest person would describe as a respectful and patriotic (at least from thier view) bunch was all of a sudden a gaggle of fringe miscreants with a heavy streak of racism. Translated from liberal-speak, they were the unabashed good guys. The left simply cannot deal fairly with the principled right.

Fast forward a bit and we find the left taking a page from the Tea Party folks, jumping out in the streets with thier own version of the TP: the Occupy Wall Street movement. Never mind that, despite the subserviant media charicatures, the Tea Party were an overwhelmingly dignified bunch that stood on firm principles rooted in our greatest traditions, while the OWS mob were a bunch of clowns without a clear message or goal except to extract from others (the "1%") the fruits of thier labor. And let us put aside also that thier "movement", which supposedly represented the entirety of us in the "99%" (an incredibly smug claim, to say the least), was characterized by crime and walking the borderline of riotous behavior rather than the comparitively timid behavior of those "extremist" "Tea Baggers".

No, what ought to concern us is whom the MSM and liberal politicians villainized, and whom they endorsed. It speaks volumes to the character and nature of these who depend on the ignorance of common folk to accept thier propoganda as gospel. The fact that they can do so with such frequency and hubris confirms that far too many are mere sheep, a fact they know well.

In an effort to aid the "sheeple", allow me to present here a clear and accurate distinction between the two. OWS is no Tea Party...the difference is profound, it is the difference between destroying our country and saving it.

A Great Day For Geert (and Freedom)

The Dutch courts today acquitted populist politician Geert Wilders from charges of discrimination and using  hate speech. This is a great day, my friends...and lovers of true liberty around the world should rejoice.

The summarized story is this: a lot of destabilization and unrest have come with the massive influx of muslim immigrants to Holland (a common problem amongst many western countries). WIth an increased population have come many demands to change Holland into something unlike Holland...you know, into something more like the intolerant third world countries that these ungrateful parasites came from.

Enter Geert Wilders, the gutsiest and arguably most patriotic of parliamentary members in the Dutch House of Representatives. Where a majority of his political peers succumb completely (and suicidally) to the pressures of political correctness, Geert has been vocal in noting the dangers of radical Islam, particularly if it is not curtailed while it continues to infest his country to a greater degree every year.

Setting about to warn his countrymen of the dangers of failing to take action in maintaining the rights, freedoms, and culture of Holland, he has been criticized as an extremist, a reactionary, and of course as a racist fear-monger. His insistence that immigrants conform to dutch culture rather than push it out in preference of their own foreign culture has angered many within the Muslim community worldwide.

My opinion is simply this: Geert Wilders had the guts to say what many of the fearful and the brainwashed will not...Islam is a huge problem, period. Where most prefer to stick their heads in the sand and pretend that this murderous religion is something other than what it is, Geert Wilders had the courage and fortitude to say it like it is. Where many countries are in the process of committing slow suicide by pandering to these obnoxious slaves to a 7th century barbarically tyrannical culture, Wilders stands out amongst a seemingly minute selection of heroes who still have the guts to stand for freedom and to describe plainly the blatantly obvious.

It is no surprise these days that he was attacked so dishonestly and with such rage for taking his argument to the public. That is the modus operandi of the evil in this era. Free speech is only for the bad guys...for those who oppose them, it is called hate speech. Use any means at your disposal, including violence, to shut down criticism. Infiltrate and indoctrinate, or else annihilate.

Wilders' crime, if we could call it that with any integrity at all, was to call them out publicly for the intolerant and insistent savages that they are, and to do so in an age when the masses prefer to slumber blissfully into oblivion rather than be roused to the dangers at their door. Although he has never once called for physical action or violence (where many of his critics have and do), he was accused of exercising "hate speech" (what others call free speech). Today the courts found him innocent of these preposterous charges.

The fact that something as ridiculously obvious as a right to free speech still has to be defended in the courts is simply frightening. A massive shift has taken place in western civilization. Ideas and speech that were once understood or thought to be dangerous have come a long way. Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Feminism, Aryanism, Anti-Semitism...the list goes on with these hate filled doctrines...have all been traditionally rejected, understood to at least be somewhat perverse ideologies incompatible with the natural world (the nature of mankind) and / or the concept of individual liberty and freedom. Now, however, through the use of various methods and avenues, many of these ideas have gained traction, all under the protection of liberties granted by the societies which they abhor and oppose. Where permissiveness was granted most leniently to unpopular ideas and beliefs, the beneficiaries of such graciousness are now the first to deny it to others. All the while increasingly liberal societies are blinded by their own irrational and unreasonable ideologies, often making pronouncements in favor of tyrannical minority groups, as much as these may defy the sensibilities of the majority whom these governments are charged to protect and serve. For instance, the Labour government of England actually banned Wilders from entering the country in 2009, saying his presence would constitute a "threat to one of the fundamental interests of society." What principle, eh? Wilders is the threat to society...not the terrorist acolytes of whom he speaks. Weak kneed and unprincipled leaders with twisted doctrines like these are precisely the primary threat to free civilization in the modern era.

Thus we have a violent thuggish cult (yes, yes, I know there are "moderate" Muslims...do we have to go there yet again?) who has absolutely no regard for the rights and freedoms of others outside of its own narrow sphere, and in fact seeks to dominate or destroy them. Yet, when criticisms are levied (which are far milder than those received the other way around), it is all of a sudden a hate crime that we are supposed to take seriously? Unfortunately, these sorts of asinine charges are made because they have some effect in our topsy-turvy twisted system.

This is why today is a great day. A courageous man was vindicated, an uncertain outcome in increasingly corrupt courtrooms. His positions are popular, but rarely spoken because the oppresive weight of liberal political correctness is even more pervasive.

We need to wake up. For every Geert Wilders who has the advantages of popularity, public support, political connections, and financial resources, there are many others who are crushed under the tyranny of political correctness run amok in our governments and our courtrooms.

Here's a bit of parting wisdom...whenever you hear someone using the term "hate speech" or "hate crime", understand immediately that you are dealing with either the enemy or the indoctrinated. These are wickedly deceptive terms used to shut down free speech and debate for the purpose of forcing their own twisted ideology. Decent and thinking people do not use these terms, and understand them as merely one in a host of dishonest and dishonorable tactics used to coerce and ultimately enslave.

Weinergate Analysis

And here we go again.

There is something special that happens with a persons  ascension to power. When  the personal coffers  flow and celebrity draws the dumb masses to your feet with whispers you can only interpret as confirmation of your greatness...well, the world changes. And it does it all for you. How could it not? The stars have aligned with no purpose other than to proclaim your superiority. It doesn't matter how you got there...athlete, movie star, singer, or politician...they are all the same, paths to  a destiny meant only for the anointed amongst us. And when you get there it simply would not do to concern yourself with the petty matters in life...your new calling can be nothing less than the indulgent self adulation to which you are most certainly entitled.

So here we are in very familiar circumstances...yet another elite darling caught in a sex scandal...kind of. Big shocker, eh?

In case the opening paragraph didn't make the point, I absolutely detest the rich and powerful. It's not the money they have, or necessarily the power either. It's what these things so often do to those that have them. Consider, for example, one of Rep. Weiners friends, Ben Affleck. Now big Ben, as I never like to call him, at one point was a simple rube with a lucky break. But now, despite being a mediocre actor at best, it would seem that in some circles he's something of a pop-culture Pope...and to listen to the guy sometimes, one would think that he actually believes it. And he's got nothing on the hubris of his buddy, Matt Damon. What is it that makes these people think that because they got a lucky break or two that all of a sudden they are smarter than the average guy...that somewhere along the line they sprouted a brain and are in fact now experts on everything from poverty to foreign affairs? To listen to them certainly disproves any such thing, no?

But I digress.

The point of this rant concerns itself not with spoiled Hollywood morons, but with another spoiled moron of a different profession: New York Representative Anthony Weiner. For those who haven't paid attention to the news as of late, let me sum up the story briefly and concisely: Weiner got caught sending somewhat risque photos of himself to a woman not his wife, and has been found to have been involved with several women via social networking sites.

Several Republicans are of course calling for his head on a pike, and there appear to be a few liberals who are willing to go along with that. Most, in fact, are distancing themselves from him quite rapidly. Even his buddy Jon Stewart, the man of absolute character that he is, has said that he should step down. This is quite amazing, since Weiner has up until now been an effective and prized champion pit-bull for the left. Me, I think it's absolute nonsense.

Let's be clear here. It was not all that long ago that Billy Blythe III (aka President William J. Clinton) had been serviced quite thoroughly in no place less than the sacred chamber of the Oval Office. For those that remember, at that time Republicans were then also calling for the transgressors head on a pike, resulting in a successful impeachment of the man. He didn't step down, and he was not removed. I thought it was a deplorable act, to the point that I would have concurred with a resignation, but only because I felt it clearly demonstrated a deep contempt for the dignity of the office. The thought of a self-indulgent hippy desecrating the space that had been the office of men far greater than he with animal house antics, well, it caused me some offense, let's put it that way.

But this is something different. First off, this is an incident in which the offensive person merely sent a few photos of himself to another adult via his cell phone. From what I have seen and what I understand thus far, the pictures themselves were, as I said previously, somewhat risque, but otherwise relatively tame. What's more, they appeared to be taken from outside of his office. Bubba, on the other hand, was investigating the tenderness of a woman's tonsils with his somewhat fleshy tongue depressor, all whilst reclining in the chair of the Commander-in-Chief for one of the most noble civilizations in human history (or so we were). To me, these two events are not on the same level  of offense. And remember, Bubba got away with it, so there is no way we can pretend anything near consistency by calling for Weiners head. Ahem.

And let us not forget that inappropriate behavior does not restrict itself to the liberals alone. Whilst the libs tend to define themselves in part by their self-indulgence and narcissism, Republicans have had a scandal or two themselves. I have no problems with setting high standards of morality for elected representatives, but Republicans may want to make sure their own house is clean for a while before casting stones. Otherwise, you will inevitably make yourselves look like a bunch of hypocritical asses to a large number of people with little appetite for congressional antics.

Yes, Weiner is a scumbag. But he's a liberal, it is to be expected, no? However, his reckoning is with his wife and his constituents, not the establishment parties. He ought to be stripped of any committee positions or other special offices, certainly. But the rest is a matter between him and those who elected him as far as I am concerned. Let him meet them as a simple and hopefully humbled man, and let them determine his fate.

Not that I am buying into the possibility of real humility for the guy. The lack of sincerity and humility is epidemic in the halls of power, of that much I am sure. When Sen. Chuck Schumer half-heartedly defends him as a "talented and committed public servant", I almost vomit in my mouth a little."Public servant"? Really? It has been some time since most of congress were truly in it to serve the public. Let's get real...most (but not all) of them are in it to serve themselves, not the public. The actions of Rep. Weiner make it clear what sort he is.

And another point before I move on: when the defenders come to his aid with praises for at least confessing his wrongs, we ought be clear about one thing...prior to "confessing" he lied for about a week, blaming it on his account supposedly being hacked. Sorry, but you don't get the credit for being a truth telling confessor after a week of lying and attempted cover-up. By saying that he "confessed" without reference to the previous lies, you give the impression of him as a man of at least some character who admitted his error up front, when in fact this is false. It would be far more accurate to say that he finally admitted the truth, rather than gloss over the truth by simply crediting him with an unqualified confession.

Back to the point. We live in the age of Barney Frank, a despicable fixture in the House of Representatives, who has regular dalliances with other men, and a reputation for lascivious indulgences that would make Caligula proud. Yet, we say almost nothing as to the character of this corrupt homosexual power-monger. And his sexual appetites aside, there is more than enough to convict him, were our system not a broken one without regard for equal justice for all men. But when we so relax our standards that we repeatedly elect leaders with such gluttonous appetites as Barney Frank, I fear that we will only look nothing less than stupid in our hypocrisy whenwe go after Weiner for a few pictures.

We need to clean house, there is no question. And I've no doubt that Weiner is corrupt, even if for no other reason than the fact that he is a modern liberal politician, and therefore is in his heart and mind treacherously opposed to the values and principles upon which this country was founded. But aggressive pursuit in this little incident will come across as petty, because in the grand scheme it is petty. We stopped trying to elect saints many decades ago. Neuter the guy politically if you can, sure, but don't make the mistake of again portraying yourselves as the guardians of moral purity...it doesn't work because nobody buys it.

EDIT: Apparently there is a photo sent by Rep. Weiner of an unclothed, er, wiener. This adds a little bit more to the level of douche-baggery, for certain, but my points still stand.

EDIT #2: I wrote this rant with only a smattering of research on the matter, thinking that little else needed to be revealed. Afterwards I looked a little deeper into the chit-chat surrounding the topic and found 2 noticable items of interest. 1) Where I thought I was being slightly clever with tagging this issue as "Weinergate", it seems that at least one other person beat me to the punch. Damn. 2) While I did not refer beforehand to any of the opinions by persons I normally respect in the political chattering class, I was quite heartened to find my own sentiments nearly parroted by none other than the great Charles Krauthammer, although he of course put things far more eloquently than I. See his commentary on O'Reilly here.

As Elections Approach...

And they're off...

Election season is upon us once again. Dems already know who their candidate is. They've apparently contented themselves to play it safe by continuing support for the current amateur in office, their money riding on the fact that he still seems startlingly electable. Meanwhile, on the other side of the isle things are shaking up a bit, and the race to become the opposition nominee is on.

I am tempted to go off into my own little analysis of the current crop of candidates, but that is something perhaps best left for another time. Instead, I would send out this appeal to my Wiccan (and by extension, Pagan) brethren to really think this one out.

Listen, I get it. Being a liberal is the unwritten commandment amongst modern neopagans. And we don't call it groupthink...nah, we call it enlightenment. I mean, how can so many who hate Bush and the Republicans be wrong, right? (As a quick reminder, Bush is no longer running for any office, so it is best that we redirect our full hatred to someone like Palin, is it not?) And while I'm on it, isn't it way past time we pulled out of Vietnam....er, I mean Iraq, and um, Libya? Oh, wait a minute...Libya is Obamas' little exercise virility via military power...we can't (and don't) bitch about that...anti-war credibility be damned.

Seriously now, my little jabs aside, things are way too serious for us to remain political sheep. It's time to put away the historical revisionism and get a grip on who and what the parties before us actually represent. For a group that prides themselves on being so smart, we pagan types are incredibly stupid when it comes to reasonably understanding history and the parties we elect into power. I am not saying this as a committed Republican (which I am not), but as a convicted (and arguably somewhat educated) conservative libertarian.

Please take a couple minutes and view these videos. They are brief, and will present to you a series of historical facts (many of which I presented in an earlier rant) which completely contradict the image crafted for mass consumption by the left, an image born of deceit and lies for the purposes of misleading you, my well intentioned but grossly misinformed brother. It's time for the thinking pagans with integrity to reassess their allegiances, and their teachers. We are on a downward trajectory...do you really want to be part of the machine that keeps us on this suicidal decline?

It is not my intention to suggest a switch of allegiances from one party to the other (although in this case I think it would certainly be an improvement), but from propaganda to personal integrity. Be responsible. Be educated. Stop buying into canned thoughts cribbed from left wing talking points. In short, stop being what Lenin referred to as a "useful idiot". Know history.

Setting The Record Straight

Battleground Madison

The times, they are a changin'. And then again, some things never change.

While many muslim dominated countries in the middle-east and Africa are feeling the heat of revolutionary fires, no less important of a battle is brewing here in the homeland. Both phenomena are overdue righteous stands against tyranny; one against the inflexible demands and rule of a freedom killing government (wherever that may be), the other against the equally inflexible demands of country killing labor unions.

Anticipating accusations of being a mindless sell-out to the opposition right, let me clarify at the outset: I am a card carrying, dues paying member of a union. I like the idea of labor unions, and I don't even have a problem with paying dues, voluntarily. I think there is a very valid function for labor unions. But at the same time, I absolutely despise what unions have become, and what they are as currently constituted. This is not a left-right issue here, but it is a right-wrong issue clearly demonstrated by the right and left, respectively. It is no wonder that so many state governments are starting to rise in opposition to them...what the hell took so long?

My grievances against unions stretch out much longer than the list of benefits I see in them. Consider some of these for a moment, my diverse, inclusive, and wise liberal pagan brethren, for they are common gripes found amongst many members who feel betrayed every time their dues are extracted:

- I never had a choice in being part of a union. If I wanted this job (which I did), then I was forced to be part of the union. This is not the employers preferred option, nor many times that of the employee, it is the reality they must impose as a result of heavy union coercion ("for the workers", natch).

- Unions claim to represent me (us), yet direct extracted funds via dues to political parties and politicians that often reflect the precise opposite of my values. In other words, they steal the fruits of my labor against my will to promote agendas and ideas I am morally opposed to. In this respect, I become their slave...leaving me naught but the option to seek employment elsewhere if I am to be free of their shackles. Is this right? Are the unions supposed to have this kind of power?

- Unions are morally and intellectually shallow. They appeal to base emotions and greed in members, manipulating them into mob mentalities that have little to do with fairness or reason. Their primary function is to serve the greed of members, without regard for the health of the tit upon which they suckle, and to amass political power through extorted dues, raw numbers and clandestine alliances. Only sold-out true believers fail to see the degree to which the members are in reality little more than puppets, or useful idiots. These days I often think that even Hoffa would be at least a little embarrassed, the classless bunch that we have become.

The modern labor union is little more than a current manifestation of the traditional socialist left, in all of its ugly dishonesty and smiley-faced dogma. One of many appendages of the modern liberal left, it desires nothing more than to bathe in the egalitarian glory of a realized utopian fantasy. You know, the same one that comrades Marx, Castro, Guevara, and Chavez were all warm in the knickers about. Today's socialists (Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT), anyone?) completely fail to grasp why it is a horrible idea that is inherently incompatible with freedom and liberty. They prefer to think that it's simply a matter of none having been smart enough to implement it correctly thus far. Until them, that is.

Labor unions are exclusive political organizations that use its members as drones in their ascension to political power. Genuine concern over its members is a short sighted endeavor at best, and a complete ruse as a norm. It seems more appropriate that they simply understand how to keep the beast fed well for when it must next be unleashed. However, they are also an essential cog in the ideological machine of the socialist left, in exactly the same socialist / communist traditions of National Socialist Germany, the Peoples Republic of China, and the Soviet Socialist Republic. Each of them had a "workers" plank to conceal more devious agendas and appetites...we've just compartmentalized and prettied ours up a bit.

That is what unions of today are. But like virtually all liberal organizations, they did not start off this way. They actually started with fair grievances, but once these were reasonably satisfied became monsters of thier own by shifting towards the pure growth and acquisition of power, fitting perfectly with the larger liberal profile. They must typically maintain the illusion of persistent justified greivance with "the other", who is always described as nefariously plotting against the best interests of its members. NOW, anyone? How about a pinch of NAACP? A dash of ACLU? Liberal organs all, and each one corrupt and dishonest to the core.

So here we have Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin, leading the charge against the union mobs. Joining NJ Gov. Chris Christie as the first leaders brave enough to take a stand against the juggernaut of union indulgence and excess, we can take hope that several states will now find the strength and encouragement to join the fray in exposing the absolute greed and perversion of organizations that feel perfectly fine with raping private sector taxpayers (which fund labor employees) as they maintain warm and cozy positions in our current economic climate.

I've heard the arguments, and this is pretty clear to any kool-aid intolerant observer...the mob amassed in the Madison Government center is little more than a display of the worst amongst humanity. Raw, unadulterated greed and irresponsibility expressed in the form of temper tantrums by supposed adults with a childish view of today's realities. These are the "I want it, I want more, I want it now, and I don't care who has to pay for it" crowd. I know, because I am part of that group, obediently sending my monthly tithes to the socialist union gods who know my needs better than I.

The State Senators who left town to shut down any votes on the matter however, deserve quite a special place in hell. Each of them should be heavily censured, or even expelled from the Senate. Leaving town to shut down a fair vote simply because you are in the minority and know you will lose, well, that should be criminal dereliction of duty. Leave it to liberals to hold government hostage whenever it can. Forget the rule of law, or simple decency for that matter. It's constant guerrilla warfare for this cretinous segment of the political class. No honor, no class.

Then there is the emerging argument that the unions are willing to grant the concessions asked by the government, but fear that their bargaining rights are going to be stripped away. Yeah, that's the ticket. Can you hear it? "I would eat my greens if I had to, except then I just know you are going to starve me from now on..."...followed by banging utensils on the highchair table. Know what? I hope to hell that the unions will have their bargaining rights curtailed. It is long overdue. And the next time you hear one of these goons cry that this is union busting or some such nonsense, remember that only to those hopelessly indoctrinated does curtailing mean eradication. Then again, given only the choices of allowing unions to exist as they do or going the union busters route, I say bust the bastards...pardon my francais.

This last year, the union to which I belong was forced to reconcile its demands with government deficits. Wanna peek into the union members mind? While most segments of the government had to pare down, unemployment was up (along with housing costs), and the private sector (taxpayers) was shouldering most of the brunt, many of us union geniuses were getting our panties in a twist over the possibility that we would not receive our adequate to generous yearly raises (cost of living allowance). I actually had to explain on more than a few occasions that it might be wise to read the writing on the wall, we were lucky to suffer no lay-offs. But this is the thought process inherent to the labor culture...the world can be burning down around you, and you don't feel responsible at all, as long as you get yours. Fortunately, the union to which I belong did see the writing on the wall, and wisely agreed to three years of pay freezes rather than the alternatives, proposed and intuitively gleaned. But then again, I live in Canada, where they tend to be seemingly timid in comparison to their counterparts, my obnoxious American (liberal) countrymen.

And here's another little tidbit: as a government employee, we are not permitted to strike. You know, just like the brats in Wisconsin right now. By virtue of thier actions, each of these has violated thier union agreements. Were I the Governor, I would be investigating the possibility of reaquainting these folks with the Reagan ultimatum - return to work, or you are terminated. As a matter of fact, after the first "sick" day, I wouldn't even give them the option. They chose to break the agreement, not the government.

Bottom line: Keep doing what your doing, Governors. Set the example, and maybe we can get some of these spineless federal politicians to chip in finally. I mean, why not? Obama, the embarassment of a President that he is, has unsurprisingly thrown his weight behind the union thugs. Lets get this war on, boys. It's a righteous one well worth fighting, and only one of the fields of battle upon which we must muster if we are to continue hope for this Republic in the long term.

I'm tired of being on the side of the sissies. It does little good to be right when you won't stand for what's right. Thank god for Governors Christie and Walker. Let them be a rallying cry for those who have had enough of this left wing soft totalitarianism.

HMC Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby is and will always be amongst the greatest comedians in history. I have long admired not only his exceptional wit, but also that he has maintained the highest standards of decency while the bulk of his trade has veered heavily towards the opposite. When other comics like Red Foxx and Richard Pryor were finding audiences through the appeal of more salacious humor, Dr. Cosby insisted by example that gutter comedy relies on lowest common denominator crutches which are of no use to those who possess true comic genius. Just take a look at the trash that passes for humor today (Def Comedy Jam, anyone?).

This is all a long way of saying that Dr. Cosby is a rare artist these days, and a role model for so many. Not content to rest on the laurels of his success in the entertainment industry, Mr. Cosby earned his Doctor of education degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1976. Since then he has received numerous honorary doctorate degrees from various institutions for his outstanding contributions to society. I cannot think of another entertainer as meritous as Dr. Cosby. He is amongst the creme de la creme of not only entertainers, but of inspirational public figures and role models.

I am quite pleased that Dr. Cosby has received yet another recognition. Having followed his fathers footsteps at an early age of adulthood, Cosby joined the United States Navy, wherein he served as an HM (Hospital Corpsman). It was here that he earned his high school equvilancy (i.e.; GED), having first recognized the importance of education...a passion that would guide him for a lifetime.

Now, Dr. Cosby has been recognized by the United States Navy as an honorary Chief Petty Officer, no small achievement. There are very, very few honorary Chiefs, and as a retired sailor, I can tell you that being a Chief is a station of high regard. Hell, we respect our Chiefs on the whole a helluva lot more than we do most Officers. So this is no small matter, and is high praise for Dr. Cosby.

I for one am proud to see this particular fellow Petty Officer receive such recongnition. It pleases me very much to see Mr. Cosby receive an even higher title that Doctor...that of Chief.

So, to HMC William H. Cosby: Bravo Zulu, Chief!!!

WANTED: Countrymen like Jan Brewer!! Millions of positions needed!!

 
Here we have it, folks. A perfect picture of the chaos on our borders, and a crystal clear snapshot of how these folks think. Did you really buy the notion that securing the borders was merely an obsession of the insensitively non-inclusive? Did you really think it was about right-wing fascist hatred?

We've got chaos on our borders, my friends. Innocent Americans are dying at the hands of these lawless vermin while our political class does nothing.

And it ain't simply libertad that they're clamoring for. We owe them, you see. I mean I would have never thunk it, but although I can't recall ever having received anything from them to owe them for, apparently I do...by virtue of having been born in this country. You know, the United States. The tit upon which the rest of the world suckles as they whine themselves into blissfull sleep filled with conspiratorial dreams of a more nurturing and revolutionary global motherland.

We want, we want, we want...so you owe, you owe, you owe. These bastard children of the demented left are a menace, pure and simple.

Make no mistake, this is what we get for pandering to racial groups (or any groups, for that matter) and anti-American nutjobs across the globe. We are weak in our resolve, and increasingly in our character...and they see it. And lest one thinks I rant solely against the lunatic left (who in thier foolish cowardice embrace and propagate the sentiments portrayed above), I'm looking at you, G.W. I give you credit for the character and justified resolve that your enemies completely lack, but your dereliction of duty in securing our borders and outright pandering to your perceived companeros only led us further down the slippery slope of appeasement. For all of your good intentions, your naivete cost us dearly in this prolonged culture war.

And where is the federal government now on this issue? Silent. The only strength they have to muster in their inclusive insanity is to fight against the states who are now forced to defend themselves. It is now beyond dereliction of duty, and fully in the realm of treason. When you fail so magnanimously in your basic function of protecting your borders and people against foreign invaders, and you do so by choice no less, then you are a government overdue in being replaced. You, Obama and co., are enemies of the people.

We need more Governor Jan Brewers (and Sheriff Joe Arpaio's), not less. And we need an army of them, like yesterday. Scratch that...we needed them several years ago, when Bush the Younger was conveniently ignoring the problem as it escalated.

This isn't about hate...that's their ("progressives") bag. This is about the maintenance of law and order, of our society. This is about safety, justice and freedom. And to get this right, for the time being it absolutely needs to be about exposing and prosecuting those enemies in the political class who would so easily sell us out with such cheap and vain philosophies that only serve to preserve their egos and power at the expense of their countrymen. This likewise includes those self-styled sophisticated culture warriors who serve as the drones in the dumb masses for the sole purpose of advancing the machiavellian plans of the loony liberal left.

Wake up, America.
